Fortunately, many aspects of medical care and daily life in Vietnam have changed for the better in the past decade. But our work isn't done yet. The Medical Committee Netherlands-Vietnam plans to support Vietnam in the years to come by helping to solve the multitude of problems Vietnam faces due to the aftermath of the war, isolation in the past and more recently to natural disasters such as flooding, typhoons and lengthy periods of drought in some areas.
The great power and ability of the Vietnamese people to rebuild their country time and time again after devastating events has evoked the admiration and support of many people in the Netherlands. MCNV proudly translates their solidarity, expressed in the form of financial support, into successful medical projects for the Vietnamese community, especially for those who need it most.
